I read somewhere that its okay to have not so healthy eating days as long as you bookend them with healthy eating days! So after a birthday celebration of rich foods and desserts I needed a really healthy eating day.
I’ve discovered that having a Sandwich Salad at Bread Bar is a great way to thank your body for participating in all that bday food celebrating but to also still satisfy your taste buds.
Kristy at Bread Bar on Locke St made an excellent recommendation of having the chicken club with guacamole over organic greens. I liked that it was real chicken pieces that were moist and flavourful. I would definitely recommend this and even have it again.
Also, they make their iced tea from scratch (orange pekoe) for a really good refreshing sweet tea!
