GT’s fab new food, excellent customer service (& still a great location)

GT’s in Port Stanley has a great location on the beach and amazing lake views, but do you know they’ve got fabulous food too?

Thank you to Carly for her enthusiasm in explaining the GT’s menu and new menu items to me. She was super friendly and a pleasure to chat with. A friend recommended the new Romaine Lettuce Wraps and Carly agreed they’ve been a favourite.

I loved these chicken wraps so much; with chopped seasoned chicken, al dente water chestnuts, green onions, cilantro, lime and crunchy wonton straws (that were sweet and salty) served along side 5 huge Fresh romaine lettuce leafs. All perfect for assembling your own wraps.

The very tasty chicken mixture stands out perfectly with all the soft and crunchy textures. What a great value for $11.49 as it filled me up!

I highly recommend accompanying with a white wine spritzer. They are Delish!

I’m definitely coming back for their thursday perch special as well as Carly’s other recommendations: Ahi tuna wonton, Steak & goat cheese greens, and the Mile High Club chicken sandwich. I’m also very intrigued by the dessert nachos (fried white flour tortilla dusted with sugar and tons of topping options). Another note, I’m quite impressed that Andy, the owner, was out helping the servers out and was very approachable. I really admire over and above customer service skills.

Keep up the good work GT’s: great location, fabulous food and admirable customer service!

About Marsha Idella

It's my Edible Journey! I love food. I love love love chef tastings. Eating out inspires my home cooking. I’m passionate about sharing the foods I’ve tasted – made by someone else or me. I love sharing my journey through food, advising where to eat and what to eat. Sometimes it’s a homemade meal, a nearby restaurant, a culinary vacation or a food themed event. I love sharing food photos and their descriptions just as much as eating, but I also need to archive my foodie photos and recommendations thus far so that I don’t forget where I’ve been. Sometimes it is about eating the same thing twice – especially when you want to share that experience with someone or just relive it. “This is amazing, you gotta eat this”
