The Tea Room in Bronte – a pleasant surprise

My mom and I along with another mom and daughter really enjoyed our lovely afternoon tea in this quaint and cosy tea room.

Thank you to Terri for recommending the Love tea, loved it! We shared the harbour tea and my mom really enjoyed the veggie selection. But I was quite surprised by the different sandwich flavours: egg salad, tuna, curry mango chicken, and a turkey/brie/cranberry wrap!

I really appreciate that the warm scones and sweets came out after we were done the sandwiches as I LOVE a warm scone to put the clotted cream on! The sweets were the perfect amount and my mouth is still watering recalling the lemon square and butter tart square.

I understand sometimes there’s vouchers for 2-for-1 high tea on living social. I’ll be looking out for those! Can’t wait to make this a regular stop with friends. Definitely recommended a visit to The Tea Room in Bronte!

About Marsha Idella

It's my Edible Journey! I love food. I love love love chef tastings. Eating out inspires my home cooking. I’m passionate about sharing the foods I’ve tasted – made by someone else or me. I love sharing my journey through food, advising where to eat and what to eat. Sometimes it’s a homemade meal, a nearby restaurant, a culinary vacation or a food themed event. I love sharing food photos and their descriptions just as much as eating, but I also need to archive my foodie photos and recommendations thus far so that I don’t forget where I’ve been. Sometimes it is about eating the same thing twice – especially when you want to share that experience with someone or just relive it. “This is amazing, you gotta eat this”
