Spin Dessert Cafe & Bistro

Oh yeah, I’ve been waiting for this Burlington Restaurant to open! Thank you to Ana for my taste tests:

20140206-204103.jpg The February drink special is a “Raspberry white hot chocolate.” I am a huge hot chocolate fan and this one wins my vote because of the smooth raspberry syrup. It wasn’t too sweet, it was just right. For me personally I’d ask for less whip cream and a bit hotter milk, but the taste is lovely!

20140206-204315.jpg Homemade Chocolate peanut butter ice cream! Oh my goodness. I’m going to be craving this one a lot. I love it because it’s a light milk chocolate ice cream and smooth real peanut butter. It’s homemade fresh in the Mississauga head office.

I cannot wait to visit again because I’m going to have spin’s homemade chocolate, peanut butter brownie with the homemade chocolate peanut butter ice cream. And then for the next visit after that, the chocolate chip lava cookie!

I’ve since been back to try the peanut butter explosion brownie which I took half home for later. So rich, sweet and smooth. Pretty good paired with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream too!

About Marsha Idella

It's my Edible Journey! I love food. I love love love chef tastings. Eating out inspires my home cooking. I’m passionate about sharing the foods I’ve tasted – made by someone else or me. I love sharing my journey through food, advising where to eat and what to eat. Sometimes it’s a homemade meal, a nearby restaurant, a culinary vacation or a food themed event. I love sharing food photos and their descriptions just as much as eating, but I also need to archive my foodie photos and recommendations thus far so that I don’t forget where I’ve been. Sometimes it is about eating the same thing twice – especially when you want to share that experience with someone or just relive it. “This is amazing, you gotta eat this”
