You Gotta Eat This

Thinking outside the box; what can you think of to add to your pancakes either during the cooking process or adding on top after they have cooked? Sweet pancakes? Savoury pancakes? Cheese? Bacon, sausage, chicken?

Today I kept it simple topping my blueberry pancake with banana oatmeal crumble. I make the instant oatmeal but substitute the water with crushed bananas, a little bit of brown sugar and maple syrup. It is such a warming breakfast! Or you could use applesauce instead of water too.
